Letter #13 – Everything Is Hackable: Learn the Process, Master the Skill

Dear children,

This kind of lesson is usually taught by the world’s top life-coaches, elite athletes, high-performing CEOs, and so on — but I want you to have access to it now, while you are still young enough to use it early……… drum roll please 😉

Everything in life is hackable: from skills to success, from habits to confidence — but you need to learn how to understand the process behind it.

From this, you can accomplish anything.

So, If you see someone that has achieved anything you might admire, whether it’s becoming strong or wealthy, talented in something, respected by people, confident when talking, calm, or skilled etc, well, they didn’t just magically arrive there. They ALL followed a process. And processes can be learned, then copied, until you have mastered it.

This is one of the greatest life shortcuts you’ll ever find. Because the moment you understand that success is not a mystery but a technique, you will stop feeling intimidated by the world and start feeling invited by it. It’s like every door opens now, if you just simply learn how the lock works.

OK, now lets talk examples!!

  1. Every successful athlete who succeeds has hacked their sport:
They study the movement, break it down, replay it in slow motion, copy it, practise it, analyse it, and repeat it until it becomes part of them.
(As Tim Grover — the coach behind basketball players Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant — teaches, champions succeed because they remove guesswork and master micro-steps.)

2. Every top student hacks their subjects:
They learn how to study, not just what to study.
They use memory techniques, repetition, exam patterns and tutors. It’s not luck.

3. Every entrepreneur hacks the business they build:
They study what works, copy successful models, test small versions, refine their strategy, and stay consistent until something clicks. Then it’s just a matter of time before they can grow their business.

4.5.6. etc. Every writer, every chess player, every speaker, every leader — all of them rise because they hack the skill they want to master.

Nothing they do is random.
Everything has steps.
And any set of steps can be learned!

“If someone else can do it… you can too.”

This is a simple sentence, but it really is a life-changing belief.
Your brain is built to learn from patterns.
This is how human beings evolved. We start by watching, then copying, refining, improving, and doing things better the next time.
Imagine you wander into the forest to find berries and you get lost. Eventually, you end up at the same weird tree three times in a row.
Then you watch someone else scratch simple marks onto the ground to track their path.
So you copy the trick.
Then you improve it by adding arrows.
Congratulations — you’ve just invented the first Google Maps prototype… joking.

But that example was to show you how to hack an idea and go through the process to master it yourself.

Just keep in mind:

There is nothing wrong with learning slowly.
There is nothing embarrassing about starting as a beginner.
The only mistake is thinking the skill is impossible when really… you just haven’t learned the steps yet.

Remember these truths:

  • Small intelligent steps beat big emotional goals.
  • Copy → Practise → Improve → Personalise.
  • Repetition isn’t boring — it’s how champions are made.
  • Your brain loves patterns — give it one and it will grow.

If you can understand the pattern, you can master the skill.

“Excellence is not a mystery. It is a method.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Let me show you how it works in real life.

In Sports:

A child learning football can instantly improve just by copying the footwork of a great player and slowing it down into small steps.
A boxer learns punches in stages: stance, balance, rotation, power, each step is learnable.

In Academics:

Top performers don’t “study harder.”
They study smarter, following proven learning techniques/tutor that average students might not know about. They practice past papers as well and so on.

In Confidence:

People who appear confident on TV or radio aren’t born that way — they practise calm breathing, supportive self-talk, prepared responses, and micro-steps of courage.

To have confidence when talking publicly, you visualise yourself being a mountain on top of mountains. It helps you believe in yourself and therefore you cannot be broken and that people need to listen to you. If you now have doubt in your mind and your going to address a nation of people, then chances are – your going to crumble.

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT LOSING!!!

Why Most People Never Succeed

It isn’t because they are incapable.
It’s because they do these three things:

❌ They only see the end result, not the process.

They don’t see the effort that goes into the preparation.

❌ They assume others have talent that they don’t.

(Never think others are above you) They forget talent grows from training.

❌ They try to “wing it” instead of following a strategy.

And when they fail, they think the dream is impossible.

But nothing is impossible when broken down.
A mountain is climbed one step at a time.
A skill is mastered one movement at a time.
A future is built one habit at a time.

ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY! – It was built, 1 stone at a time!

How to Hack Any Skill — The A-to-B Blueprint

I’ve written the following information into easy to follow steps so you children can refer to them whenever you need to.

Here is the process you can use for the rest of your life:

1. Find someone who already has the result you want.

Watch them. Study them. Learn from them.

2. Break the skill into tiny steps.

Micro-skills. Small actions. Mini habits.

3. Copy the steps slowly and imperfectly.

Every champion starts as a clumsy beginner.

4. Practise until your brain recognises the pattern.

Repetition creates mastery.

5. Review and adjust.

Ask: “What did I do well? What can I improve?”

6. Repeat the cycle until it becomes natural.

Your brain rewires itself through consistency.

**7. Only after mastering the basics…

add your own style.**

This is how greatness is built.

e.g. RUBIK’S CUBE! You mastered how to complete the Rubik’s cube by watching a video, practicing the algorithms, then getting it wrong, rewatching what you did wrong, practicing that algorithm again, then watching techniques to tweak your skill. Then completing more and more steps until you completed it. Then after completion, you still practiced it to make sure it wasn’t a fluke and that you knew exactly what you were doing! And you know what – you lot didn’t even take long to complete it! WELL DONE! You showed perseverance and patience. GOOD JOB!

A Life-Changing Warning

As this letter is getting quiet long, I’m going to be abrupt and get straight to the point now:

Success does not come from motivation.
Motivation fades.
Discipline is powerful, but process is even stronger.

The children who learn to “hack” their goals grow faster, stay calmer, learn smarter, and build a life others admire.

This skill will change your life in every way.

Studies have even found that those who focus on the process as opposed to the end goal, they will be more successful.

Final Message

My beautiful children,
I want you to walk through the world with the quiet confidence of someone who knows that nothing is out of reach, nothing is too big, nothing is too complicated, and nothing is too hard — because every dream you have is just a series of steps waiting to be learned, and every challenge can be overcome once you understand the method behind it.

Remember always:

Success isn’t magic.
It’s a process.
And every process can be mastered.

Now go apply it…

You’ll learn faster, grow stronger, and feel prouder every time you practise.
